The Big Homie, Marcos Curiel from P.O.D. has a habit of dropping motivational nuggets on Instagram — he’s like Tony Robbins with a guitar. Recently, one of his posts hit different. It wasn’t some over-the-top, rah-rah quote. Just one simple question:
“If someone followed you around for a week, would they believe you’re serious about your goals?”
That hit. And not in a “damn, I need to step my game up” way, but in a “damn! I’m doing it,” kinda way.
Because if you shadowed me now, you’d see it firsthand—the grind, the hustle, the late nights and early mornings, the sacrifices, the risks, the calculated bets (both in business and on the Dodgers, because let’s be real, I love profiting off those bums).
The Hustle is Loud, Especially When I’m Quiet
There’s no time for excuses when you’re juggling priorities.
Between raising a family, UPS Life, running 3 Punk Ales and The Elwood, stacking Emo Brown Podcast episodes, I don’t have time for I’ll do it later – that’s for people who don’t really want it. Later is for people who wait for things to happen instead of making it happen.
Now, throw in 75 Hard? Forget about it. The grind just hit a new gear. No booze, no shortcuts, just discipline and action. This isn’t just about proving something to myself; it’s about setting a standard. Creating new habits. A lifestyle change.
The Only Way Through is Forward
Marcos’ question wasn’t a challenge—it was a confirmation. A reminder that everything I’ve built, every decision I’ve made, every moment I’ve spent grinding isn’t for nothing. This is not a phase. It’s not a trend. It’s a way of life. And the best part? The work doesn’t scare me. It fuels me.
So, if someone followed me around for a week, would they believe I’m serious about my goals? Awiwis Que Yes.
To everyone out there grinding—keep going. The results don’t lie. And if you’re waiting for the perfect time to start? That time is now.
What About You?
Now it’s your turn—if someone followed you for a week, what would they see? Are you moving toward your goals, or just talking about them?
Drop a comment, send me a message, or tag me in your hustle. Let’s push each other to keep leveling up.

Great peace here Shamps! This has me reflecting on the goals I’ve set for my self. Some completed others expired. Either way it’s motivated me to shift gears y ponerme las pilas.

This 75 Hard has definitely created a new mentality. Vamos Con Todo x Menos Con Miedo
